AWARD winning celebrity chef Antony Worrall Thompson will be heading to the Vale to attend a special culinary event in the newly built Orangery at the historic Wood Norton hotel.
The hotel, in Norton, near Evesham, will be opening its doors to the chef as he joins diners for a four-course meal and accompanying wines.
The event is part of the Bite 2014 Festival and will see Mr Worrall Thompson hosting the special night on Wednesday, (February 5).
During the evening diners will have the opportunity to meet the English restaurateur, former celebrity chef, television presenter and radio broadcaster.
He said: "Am very much looking forward to the culinary event. Wood Norton is set in a beautiful part of the country. I’m anticipating a great evening at the hotel. It’s super to be invited to be part of the BITE Festival."
Craig Webb, general manager of the hotel, added: "We are really looking forward to welcoming Antony, guests have been extremely excited about the event. An award-winning chef with excellent food and wine. It looks set to be a great night."
There are just a few tickets left for the event, which starts at 7pm, and tickets are £45 per person. Call 01386 765611 or email events@thewoodnorton.com to book.
Mr Worrall Thompson is not the first celebrity chef to visit the Wood Norton hotel. Masterchef judge Gregg Wallace hosted an evening at the hotel in August last year but ended up grappling with a gues. But the evening ended well and guests said they enjoyed the night.
