A WORCESTER charity for the blind and partially sighted was delighted when it received a generous donation from one the city's estate agents and surveyors.
Sight Concern Worcestershire was presented with the donation of £1,100 from Estate Agents and Chartered Surveyors, Halls, following a recent charity fundraising event at College Hall in Worcester.
The Halls Bavarian Night, which raised the cash for the charity last November, saw more than 160 people enjoy a lively evening of Bavarian food, drink and dancing with music performed by the renowned Bierkeller Schunklers.
Jenny Gage, chief officer at Sight Concern Worcestershire, said: "We are delighted to have worked with Halls on the Bavarian Night event, and I would like to thank them for all of their support. Fundraising help from the local business community is vital for the future delivery of our services and we are always pleased to hear from local companies who wish to develop a partnership with us."
Charlotte Fullard, senior surveyor with Halls added: "It has been a pleasure to work with Sight Concern, and it’s great to know that our support will help them to continue providing really important services for people with sight loss across the county. We wish them the very best for the future."
