A Droitwich school pupil will shave off all her hair for a charity that makes wigs for children with cancer.
Robyn Dale, from Droitwich Spa High school sixth form, will take the step at the school at 1.30pm on Thursday, February 13.
The money she raises through sponsorship by staff and students will go to Cancer Research UK and the Little Princess Trust, which gives real hair wigs to children who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment.
Robyn said: "I love my hair and shaving it off will be a bit traumatic, but it won’t be nearly as difficult for me as it is for those children who have to lose theirs to have life saving treatment."
Anyone who wants to sponsor Robyn should contact the school.
