THE sound of choirs of children along with professional performers will fill Worcester Cathedral to raise money for CLIC Sargent

Rutter's Mass of the Children, Massenet's Meditation and Czardas by Monti will all be performed during the Spring into Action concert on Saturday, March 15.

Mass of the Children will be performed by adult choirs as well as children's choirs from Claines Primary School, Worcester, Dodderhill School, Droitwich Spa, St Mary’s Church Olton and Lickey First School, Bromsgrove.

There will also be performances by The Oakville Singers and Dionysius, a choir from Krefeld, Germany, as well as The Birmingham Philharmonic Orchestra , lead by Kelly McCusker.

Compere from the evening will be Michael Collie from BBC Midlands Today and BBC Hereford and Worcester and Denise Leigh, winner of Channel 4's Operatunity will be soprano soloist.

Tickets for the front of the Nave cost £12 adults and £18 for ages 16 and under, the Nave back costs £10 adults and £7 for ages 16 and under and side aisles £6 adult and 16 and under.
