WORCESTER residents could save thousands of pounds on online frauds with the help of a new website.
AvoidOnlineScams.net is a free website that could help to prevent more than 58,000 online frauds which are reported nationally each year at an estimated annual cost of £337,786 to internet users in Worcester.
It offers impartial advice to consumers who have been targeted and scammed out in the last 12 months.
The website has been developed by online cash payment provider, Ukash to help internet users fight back against the increasingly sophisticated tactics deployed by international cyber criminals.
