A POLICE helicopter was called out to Malvern on Monday evening after an elderly man was reported missing from his home for several hours.
Police were contacted at about 8.30pm with a report that a man, aged 93, had left his home at Sandpiper Crescent at 2pm with his dog and had not returned.
A number of officers trained in search techniques, plus dogs, were deployed, and the helicopter was also called in.
The man and his dog were eventually found at 11:20pm walking in Leigh Sinton Road. The man was described as being in a confused state, but, after being checked by paramedics, was pronounced otherwise safe and well.
