LOTTERY cash is up for grabs to community projects and groups across Worcestershire.

The Fund’s Awards for All programme offers grants between £300 and £10,000 to projects addressing issues, needs and aspirations of local communities.

Anyone running a voluntary or community group, a school, a health body and parish and town councils can apply for funding and successful initiatives aim to develop skills, improve health, revitalise the local environment and enable people to become healthier, more active citizens.

Alison Rowe, Big Lottery Fund spokesperson, said: "It's great to see the variety of innovative ways projects plan to use their Awards for All grants this month.

"Offering funding of between £300 and £10,000, our Awards for All programme is accessible to a wide range of groups who all have a desire to make a positive difference in their communities."
