RICHIE is a beautiful little 21-month-old staffie in the care of RSPCA Worcester & Mid-Worcestershire Branch.

The branch rehomed Richie as a very young puppy, but sadly he needs a new home, as his owner is ill and cannot look after him any longer.

Geraldine Haynes, of the branch, said: "Richie is quite small, but a bundle of energy ! He loves his cuddles and will do anything for a bit of fuss. Richie gets on well with other dogs and children, but also likes being the centre of attention.

"He's a lovely little character and will bring a lot of joy to his forever family.

"He is house trained and does let you know if he need to go out. Richie loves long walks and is no problem with other dogs. He's learnt how to sit and stay, with the help of a few treats."

Richie is neutered, vaccinated and identichipped. Please call Geraldine for more information on 01886 822083.

The branch is also looking for a temporary foster home for Charlie, a small two-year-old staffie who has a fractured shoulder as a result of a road traffic accident. He is very friendly and affectionate.

Charlie needs restricted rest for four to five weeks to give his shoulder the chance to fuse. This lovely boy is currently at the vets, but needs a foster home as soon as possible.

If you think you can help Charlie, please ring Geraldine on 01886 822083.
