People interested in choreography are invited to a workshop at The Angel Centre, Angel Place, Worcester on Sunday, February 23.

Dancefest Creatives workshop, for anyone aged 20 and over, will use the work of dancer Miranda Tufnell and visual artist Chris Crickmay as a starting point to create movement.

It is not necessary for participants to know Tuffnell and Crickmay's work, and the workshop is open to all levels of experience from beginners, experienced dancers to people who have never danced before.

Dancefest Creatives will be an imaginative Sunday morning session suitable for anyone who would like to develop their understanding of choreography in a supportive and creative environment.

Led by Marie Oldaker, who has an MA in choreography from Dartington College of Arts, the workshop will explore ideas within the artists' work and the group will experiment and create dance using improvisation and choreographic techniques.

The workshop, which costs £15, will take place from 10am to 1pm.
