PUPILS from a Bromyard school have been celebrating Chinese New Year.

The children at St Richard's School, Bredenbury, were treated to a Chinese folksong by visitors form the Anhui province in China.

Four to six year olds from the junior school dressed in red and sang a Chinese nursery rhyme they had learnt in Mandarin.

Chinese cooking was also on the menu for the celebrations of the Year of the Horse and children have made Chinese money bags, painted Chinese characters and made lanterns and dragons.
