BUDDING young actors can see if they have got what it takes to secure a place in a chilling and musical production.
Norbury Youth Theatre present the Sweeney Todd Shock 'n' Roll Show at the Norbury Theatre, Droitwich, in October and it is a fun and ghoulish take on the classic Sweeney Todd demon barber tale .
It will be a big show with more than 15 named speaking parts including Sweeney Todd himself and Evil Mrs Lovett, with proceedings packed full of humour, audience participation, catchy songs and plenty of blood.
An information event for 13 to 18-year-olds will be staged in the Skylight Room of the Friar Street-based theatre from 4pm to 6pm on Saturday and Sunday, April 5-6 to share news about the show and its characters, the auditions and the rehearsal schedule.
The group will welcome 12-year-olds as long as they are 13 by Sunday, October 26.
