THE Mayor of Worcester is inviting people to get dressed up for a mysterious charity evening.

Cllr Pat Agar is staging a masked dinner at the city's Guildhall on Friday, April 25 as her major fund-raising event of the year.

Organised in association with the Rotary Club of Worcester, the proceeds will be split between the mayor's charities - St Paul's Hostel, Maggs Day Centre and Asha Women's Centre - and those chosen by the club.

Cllr Agar said: "The Rotary president and I look forward to welcoming you to the Guildhall for an evening of masks and mystery. Be elegant in a Venetian mask or fight crime as Batman or Wonder Woman.

"The choices are endless - who will you be for the evening?"

Cabaret entertainment will be provided by the Worcester Volcano Community Choir and there will also be an auction, grand draw and tombola.

The dress code is black tie or cocktail dresses with masks.

Tickets are £40 and guests are asked to arrive at 6.45pm for a 7.30pm start.
