YOUNGSTERS from a village school have raised more than £500 for the NSPCC.
The pupils at Sytchampton First School, near Droitwich, raised the £560 by asking friends and family for sponsorship for a host of activities and collecting donations.
An NSPCC fundraiser visited the school to teach the children about the charity and its role helping other children.
The money will go towards the charity's helpline service for children – ChildLine.
