KINDHEARTED business owners are being asked if they could provide raffle prizes for a charity preparing to mark its 40th anniversary.
Staff and volunteers at Victim Support are currently planning a special event at The Guildhall on Saturday, April 26 which will feature live performers, facepainting, cupcakes and a raffle.
The charity, which began as a community project, offers support to victims and witnesses affected by crime.
Chris Hodson, service delivery manager said: “We rely on the hard work and dedication of our staff and volunteers to provide support to local victims and witnesses of crime, helping them to recover and move forward with their lives.
"I am very proud of the excellent support we provide in West Mercia and we will continue to make every effort to ensure victims and witnesses are supported throughout the criminal justice process.
"We are currently looking for quality prizes to use in our raffle and would appreciate any support from our local community to help make this day a great success."
Anyone who can help should call the Victim Support Worcester office on 01905 726885.
