A HOST of potential sources of your dream job will be at the Worcester News Jobs and Careers Fair.

Now in its 12th year, the event, in association with Bright Assessing Ltd, will take place at the Guildhall, in Worcester High Street, on Thursday, March 13th.

It follows on from the success of the previous fair, held in September, which continues to give county jobseekers the chance to gather information on a variety of local employment opportunities, as well as training and educational courses.

The fair will welcome more than 20 new and regular exhibitors.

Richard Hencher, Worcester News recruitment manager, said: “This particular event is always well attended by local jobseekers and we are anticipating that more than 1,000 people will attend on the day.

"We always receive lots of positive feedback and success stories from both jobseekers and exhibitors."

Retailer Aldi are a returning exhibitor.

In September, they recruited three store managers, with nine people offered a work trial at stores and secured a number of interviews on the day.

This time they have various opportunities across Worcestershire.

There will be a wide range of companies exhibiting at the fair and they will be on hand to talk about various career opportunities including vacancies, training courses, further education, apprenticeships and business start-ups.

Worcester-based Sanctuary Group are another returning exhibitor and have a range of opportunities available.

They are also providing careers advice on the day, including CV workshops and one-to-one coaching on interview techniques.

Jobseekers can register for advice on the day at their stand.

The fair will be open to jobseekers from 10am until 4pm and admission is free.
