RESIDENTS of Hanley Castle are being invited to help shape the future of their parish at a public meeting on Monday (March 10).
The parish council has decided to formulate a neighbourhood plan, which will enable the local community to have a bigger say in how the area is developed.
Parish councillor Robert Lamb, who chairs the project steering group, said: "There are three objectives to this public meeting: to inform and engage interested members of the community, to identify and sign up those people that are willing to play an active part in the exercise, and to capture villagers' and other stakeholders' initial thoughts on potential subject areas."
The meeting will take place in the village hall, Hanley Swan, at 7pm. For further information contact Sue Roberts, parish council chairman, on 01684 592686.
