A PEDESTRIAN was hit by a car in Tolladine Road, Worcester, this afternoon.

The serious accident occurred at about 4.30pm when the ambulance and police were called.

A person was taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital with injuries that were reported not to be life threatening after being hit by a car, thought to be a Honda.

The road was closed at Sheriff Street and reopened just after 6pm.
