A WOODLAND expert celebrated 20 years of living in Herefordshire with an informative talk.
About 40 people heard greenwood craftsman Mike Abbott give a talk, entitled From Robin Hood to Gandalf, at Blue-ginger gallery and café in Cradley, near Malvern, on Thursday, March 27.
The evening of slides, film and conversation was based on his life in the woods and his work at his home in Halmonds Frome, where he runs chair-making courses.
As part of its current exhibition, Beast and Beauty, Blue-ginger is hosting workshops, maker demonstrations and talks by the exhibiting artists and other guests.
On Thursday, April 10, stained glass illustrator Tamsin Abbott will be giving a talk entitled a Window on My World about her life, inspirations and craft.
