ENTRIES are now open for the Acorns Triple Run at the Three Counties Showground in Malvern.
Although the event is not until Sunday, June 22, organisers say almost 400 runners have already signed up for the popular fundraising event.
The run raises funds for Acorns Children’s Hospice with a the one-km Fun Run, the five-km Woodland Trail and the Malvern Half Marathon, all starting together and ending under the same finish arch at the showground..
Hospice events manager Ian Carr said: “So far 394 people have signed up to take part in the Acorns Triple Run. We’re really pleased with the numbers but we want many more people to take part. We are also looking for corporate sponsors which play an important role in this major fundraiser.
“Acorns Children's Hospice doesn’t charge families for making use of its services, regardless of the ever increasing costs involved. We rely heavily on public fundraising and voluntary donations from events such as the Triple Run to provide us with the majority of the funding we need to operate.”
Anyone wishing to take part should visit acorns.org.uk/triplerun or call 0844 984 0405.
