A REVAMPED holistic therapy centre in Malvern was officially opened last week.
The Centre for Wellbeing has been operating from Worcester Road since 2003 but recently moved to a new, larger headquarters in St Andrew's Road, where mayor Cllr Julian Roskams cut the ribbon to officially open the new building on Saturday, April 5.
Therapists Allison Prebble and Lindsay Holder, who worked at the previous location, have taken over management and ownership of the new centre from founder Fran Doidge, who is continuing to work as a member of the team.
A range of new therapy techniques are on offer at the new centre including beauty treatments, yoga and meditation alongside the previously-offered acupuncture, aromatherapy and others.
Allison said: “ We are delighted with our new premises because we can now offer clients much more space – four treatment rooms instead of three – and much better accessibility, since we now have our own car park and no steep steps, which is much better for patients needing remedial treatments.
"And we’ve got lovely views of the Malverns too.”
To mark its new home the centre is offering a 10 per cent discount to clients trying new treatments.
