A LAST minute rehearsal saw the hustle and bustle of New York city rub shoulders with the 1950s American dining experience.

Some of the cast of Worcester Operatic and Dramatic Society's production of Guys and Dolls tucked into a run through at Detroit’s Diner in Castle Street, Worcester, on Saturday, April 12 ahead of their run at the nearby Swan Theatre.

The talented singers and dancers will perform the unlikely story of a group of gamblers, a band of the Save-a-Soul Mission and the lead singer of the Hot Box night club.

Expect a happy ending as their different worlds collide to the soundtrack of favourites such as Luck Be a Lady, Sit Down You're Rocking the Boat, Take Back Your Mink and I've Never Been in Love Before.

Guys and Dolls runs from Tuesday, April 29 to Saturday, May 3 and tickets range from £14 to £16.
