Hang on isn't this a Speed Camera Partnership site with a lowered speed limit? Surely the road should be as safe as houses then?

Clearly SCP is nothing to do with making the road a safer place to drive. All this baloney about speed causing accidents..... People cause accidents, bad driving, lack of skill, driving beyond the capabilities of the car and road conditions. Speed is only one small factor – you’ve got to be moving (i.e. speed) to cause an accident!
