Money raised to protect animals

MORE than £234 has been raised for an animal protection group by Wyre Forest shoppers.

Wyre Forest Vegans & Veggies collected the money for Animal Aid in Kidderminster on Saturday, April 19.

I wonder if a group of local meat eaters were to raise money for a limited company would they get free advertising as well?
Or on a more serious note, remember this is not a charity fundraiser. Why not support either Blue Cross or PDSA ? These two charities do excellent work in the field of animal welfare without the political campaigning.
Being registered charities they are eligible to claim Gift Aid on your donation and reclaim the tax you have paid.
