A Bromyard dance organisation has been given £5,000 to inspire new arts experiences for children and young people.

Arts Connect West Midlands has given the money to everyBODY dance as part of its investment in 60 arts and cultural organisations across the West Midlands.

The organisation has invested £384,068 in total.

everyBODY dance is based near Bromyard and works internationally.

It aims to inspire, explore and create great dance experiences with disabled and non-disabled people of all ages in unexpected spaces.

Arts Connect has funded a research and develop project so it can improve services and clearly demonstrate what it does and the positive impact it has on people’s lives.

Rachel Freeman, programme development manager said: “This funding is a really positive endorsement of our work and we’re very much looking forward to working with our new research agent over the summer months.”

Arts Connect has also given £3,000 to Artrix, in Bromsgrove, £4,235 to Story Play CIC, in Herefordshire, £4,940 to Wyre Forest District Council and £13,548 to Brightstripe, in Hereford.

Arts Connect WM is one of 10 Bridge organisations, funded by Arts Council England and working across the West Midlands.
