A RACE night was held by Worcester Lions and Christopher Whitehead Language College to help raise funds for the school's trip to Kenya.
A fun night was had by all with staff, students and parents letting their hair down as jockeys, owners and punters across a series of races.
The night raised £570 toward the trip on Friday, April 4.
Students from the College will visit Kenya in October this year.
The group of 17 students will be setting off to stay in the Tsavo National Park, two hours north of Mombasa, where they will be working on a number of environmental projects as well as helping to build and restore some of the local schools.
The students have been working hard to raise the funds to help them cover some of the costs of the trip and have so far raised over £6,000.
