POLICE have released CCTV images of a young man they want to speak to in connection with a burglary in Worcester.

The incident happened at a house in Hallow Road between 2.15pm and 2.35pm on Monday, March 24.

The householder returned home to discover the kitchen window at the back of the house was smashed and her purse, containing bank cards and cash, was missing.

It is thought the burglar may have been disturbed and left by the rear garden which leads onto Lechmere Crescent and Ellison Avenue.

DC Pete Ryland said: “We are appealing for the person shown in these images, which are from CCTV at a property in Ellison Avenue, to come forward,

“We would also like to hear from anyone who saw any suspicious behaviour or heard anything unusual in that area of Worcester at the time of the burglary.”
