NINE lucky winners walked away with a prize after Pershore Pride's loyalty card two year celebratory draw.

Hundreds of people entered loyalty cards into the draw, which marks two years of the scheme in Pershore.

The Pride card, which was launched in April 2012, has gone from strength to strength ever since and now has 130 businesses signed up.

Fiona Abbott, who is part of the Pershore Chamber of Trade which set up the scheme, said: "Each month cards completed by shoppers are entered into a draw. April's draw was a particularly good month to enter as there were nine prizes up for grabs.

"A total of 240 cards were entered, that's 2,400 transactions that took place in order to complete those cards.

"Pride organisers would like to offer a big thank you everyone for giving Pride that extra push this month. Pride really can make a difference."

The next draw will take place on Friday, May 30. For more information visit pershorepridecard.co.uk.
