A TEAM of eight from a Worcester based solicitors' practice has raised more than £600 for the Acorns Children’s Hospice.
The eight partners, solicitors and paralegals at Medical Accident Group ran from Worcester Cathedral to the hospice in Bath Road and back to their office at Deansway.
They had initially set a target of £150 for their run, dubbed the Three Miles of Madness, but when they counted they money they found to their delight they had raised more than four times as much - a total of £643.50.
Inez Brown, a partner at the firm, said: "Every child deserves the right to access expert palliative care if they require it. The care they provide makes a real difference to children’s lives when they need it most. The hospice is bright, fun and bursting with positivity; genuinely a wonderful atmosphere.”
