THERE is a real taste of change at an ice cream maker renowned for creating new flavours.
Just Rachel Quality Desserts of Bromsberrow, near Ledbury, has been making luxury ice creams, fruit sorbets and delicious desserts for 27 years with Rachel Hicks at the helm.
The award-winning producer is handing over the well-known business to the Cooper family, with Julian, Alison and Sarah Cooper stepping into her shoes.
Rachel Hicks said: "I'm really pleased to be handing the business on to a family team who are committed to carrying on what I have started.
"They are bringing a lot of business expertise and enthusiasm and they share my passion for promoting local food."
Alison Cooper said: "We are delighted to be taking on such a successful and highly regarded business and look forward to building on what Rachel has achieved.
"It was really tough researching the business as we had to try all the flavours! Our favourite was the latest addition to the range, raspberry and coconut."
The business will continue to be based at the Old Dairy, Churches Farm, Eggs Tump, and will continue to make the same top quality, award-winning products on which the business has built its reputation.
