A MOTORCYCLIST was flown to hospital with serious injuries after a collision with a car this morning.
The rider of a blue Suzuki motorcycle suffered serious head and other injuries and was flown to Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham, by air ambulance.
The crash involved a black Volkswagen driven by a man with two young female passengers, all of whom were not injured.
Police are appealing for information into the incident which happened on Wednesday, May 7, at 7.40am, at Dodford, Bromsgrove on the A448.
PC Michael Haines said: “The rider involved in this has some very serious injuries and therefore an investigation is under way to establish exactly what happened.
"We have spoken to some witnesses already but we urgently need to talk to anyone else who was there and saw what happened or noticed either the bike or the car on that road before the collision.”
The road was closed in both directions until around 11.30am.
