TWO fire crews were called to tackle a fire in a milk tanker near Stourport-on-Severn.
Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service was called just after 10pm yesterday (Sunday) to the blaze on the southbound carriageway of the A449 Crossway Green.
A crew from Kidderminster and Stourport attended along with the Environmental Protection Unit and found the tanker, which contained 28,000litres of milk, was damaged by fire.
They used two hose reels and breathing apparatus to tackle the fire and left after about an hour.
