A PIANO, snooker table and retro furniture are just some of the items up for grabs at a not-for-profit social enterprise's open day sales.

Second Chance Furnishings is set to hold two open day sales to clear stock at its warehouse on Saturday (May 24) and Friday, May 30.

The warehouse at the former Taylor's of Martley site on Berrow Green Road in Martley was kindly donated for use by a business owner who is no longer able to provide the storage space due to other business commitments.

Up for grabs at a reduced price are chairs, tables, cabinets and a large amount of office furniture which will be on sale at significantly reduced prices.

A spokesman for Second Chance Furnishings said: “Although it’s a shame to see us have to let the furniture go at such reduced prices, especially when we’re raising money to help vulnerable people in the county, we’re really glad to be able to provide great deals for local people and business owners.

“There are some interesting items for sale including a piano, a snooker table as well as older solid wood furniture and retro furniture.”

The open days will take place from 11am to 1pm on both days.

Second Chance Furnishings is in its second year of trading and accepts donations of good secondhand furniture with stock being available for resale and also used in conjunction with homeless charity St Paul’s Hostel.

It also provides furniture and white goods to vulnerable people across Worcestershire.
