MISS England contestants were given a workout they won't forget in a while when Worcestershire's Xtreme Boot Camps put them through their paces at the competitions semi-final.

The Evesham based military style boot camp company were taken on to train the Miss England contestants.

The semi final took place on Tuesday, May 19, and saw the trainers select one contender at the Miss Sportswoman. The winner was 17-year-old Laura Clare.

The boot camps will next take place at the Miss England final over the weekend of June 14 to 16 in Torbay.

Xtreme Boot Camps are also running a youth camp on Wednedsay, May 28, at Evesham High School.

To take part in the day, for youngsters aged 12 to 15, it will cost £18.
