POLICE were called to Cranham Drive in Warndon at 6am this morning following a report of a pellet gun being fired.

Two people have been arrested and are currently in custody at Worcester Police Station but no one was hurt.

Inspector Paul Hardman said: “An air weapon has been recovered and we are currently conducting a search of the area.

“We are appealing for any witnesses who saw or heard anything unusual in the Cranham Drive area this morning to contact us.

“This is a very unusual incident and I would like to reassure people that there is no risk to the public.”
