RESIDENTS at a care home in Worcester dressed up in their glad rags to mark a national event raising awareness of dementia.

Staff and patients at Latimer Court in Darwin Avenue dressed up in 1950s, 60s and 70s costumes and enjoyed a barbecue with live music and entertainment as part of this week's Dementia Awareness Week.

The home's general manager Karen Hancox said: “Everyone here has enjoyed celebrating Dementia Awareness Week and raising money for the charities that do so much excellent work in this field."
