RESIDENTS at a care home in Worcester enjoyed some musical therapy to mark the end of National Dementia Awareness Week last week.
Music therapist Julie Britton was on hand at Latimer Court in Darwin Avenue on Friday, May 23 leading an interactive session where residents were given the chance to using songs and musical instruments to communicate with each other and share their memories.
Dementia Awareness Week is a national campaign run by the Alzheimer’s Society working to raise awareness of the impact of the condition on patients as well as their families and carers.
