THERE is still time to register for this year’s Worcestershire Bike Ride.
The annual event on Sunday, June 29 – now in its 11th year – will see about 800 cyclists set of from the Sixways stadium on a round trip around the Worcestershire countryside.
Participants have the choice of an 18, 30 or 48-mile route in a bid to raise £30,000 to raise money for the British Heart Foundation.
The charity’s regional events organiser Hannah Townsend said: “As always, we have had some great support from local cyclists so thank you to everyone who has signed up so far.
“Registration is still open however and we would urge as many people to take part as possible to help us reach our fundraising target and enable us to continue our life-saving work.”
Registration is open at www.bhf.org.uk/worcestershire.
