POLICE are appealing for witness to step forward after a collision between a car and cyclist landed a 79 year-old in hospital.

The car, a black Mazda BT-50 which was driven by a man from Pudleston, was travelling towards Bromyard on the B4023 at around 11.45am, when the incident happened.

The car collided with the 79 year-old cyclists of Worcester, who was taken to hospital with injuries, after he was riding along the Downs from the A44 before joining the B4023.

Anyone with information about the collision, which happened on Monday, May 26, is asked to call West Mercia Police on 101.
