CCTV images have been released of a man police want to speak to following the theft of £150 cash from a pub near Evesham.

The money was stolen from the Royal Oak Inn in Bredon between 9am and 10.40am on Sunday, May 11.

The pub and a rented room on the first floor were entered twice and a money box containing £120 was taken from the room and £30 was taken from a glass behind the bar.

The man caught on CCTV is described as white, in his early 30s and was tall and slim with a gaunt face and short blond hair.

In some images in he wearing a florescent sleeveless jacket and in other he had removed it but was wearing a baseball cap.

Detective Constable Pete Ryland said: “We would like to hear from anyone who knows this man or recognises him from the CCTV picture.

“We would also like to appeal to the man himself to contact us.”
