The transport company are set to introduce a new helpline number no longer charged at premium rates

LONDON Midland is changing its helpline number as it aims to make it cheaper for customers to get in touch.

The changeover means customers will now pay the same rate as they would when dialing a landline, rather than a premium rate number.

Mobile users are also set to benefit, as the new number will allow them to use their inclusive minutes to call, rather than being charged extra to do so.

The changeover is scheduled to take place on Friday, June 13, with a voicemail being left on the old number to advise customers of the change.

The new number to call will be 0344 811 0133.
