A TEENAGE girl from Worcestershire is going under the clippers to raise money for a cancer charity.
Christopher Whitehead Language College pupil Bethany Marsden-Berry will be having her head shaved at a family fun event at the Coppertops pub in Oldbury Road on Saturday, August 23.
The 13-year-old, who is raising the money for Cancer Research UK, said she was not nervous about losing her long locks.
"My granddad passed away because of cancer and one of my friends had it as well but she beat it last year," she said.
"It's quite long at the moment - when it's brushed and straightened it goes half way down my back."
Bethany, from Dine's Green, will also be giving assemblies at school explaining her fundraising efforts.
