WORCESTER’S newest care home will throw open its doors to visitors next weekend.
Perry Manor in Charles Hastings Way will be open to visitors from 11am until 4pm on Saturday, June 21 as part of National Care Home Open Day.
The home, which opened earlier this month, will run activities including a raffle, tombola and face painting as well as a tea dance, refreshments and tours.
Manager Mike Dean said: “Some people do still have misconceptions about care homes, and it is therefore necessary to dispel any myths and to demystify everyday life in a care home.
“We are very proud of Perry Manor and we are keen to take the opportunity to showcase everything the care home has to offer and the difference it makes to our residents’ lives.”
