Did you think about the seriousness of this incident before you wrote this trivial remark? 'Oh dear, someones (sic) in bother' ? I'm sure it was more than 'bother' to the woman concerned.

What I meant by that remark was that thank goodness there is very good photographic evidence instead of some grainy cctv shot so the the chances of this scum being caught is very good. Apologies if any offence was caused.

Thank you for apologising. There are many on here who would not have done that. :-)

The rather conclusive slant of this story makes me feel really quite uneasy.

To publish details of claims of an alleged serious sexual attack AND a clear photo of someone who the accuser claims attacked her is inappropriate to say the least. Allowing that image to then be share through social media is irresponsible.

There will be many out there who recognise this guy and regardless of any charges or conviction will remember this news story.

It must be less than 6 months since 2 poor Worcester gentlemen were discredited by their female accuser whom they met int he pub and were welcomed into her home.

The suggestion of this story is that guilt is already near enough proven, based on previous events, I'd suggest that's very far from the situation...

100% agree.......if something terrible has happened to the victim here then yes of course, this individual should be dealt with and the victim assisted in whatever way possible.......but the comments on here do not help in that process and sharing details on social media sites also don't help - if information is already in the public domain then it makes building a legal case against someone much more difficult - thus increasing the likelihood this individual will walk away without appropriate punishment..........

That fact that the photo has been released suggests to me that he isn't innocent at all. He did it, there is cast iron proof that he did it, all they need now is to identify him. If this wasn't the case then the media would be full of photo's of 'it could have been him/her' suspects. That isn't legally allowed as it would prevent a fair trial! This man obviously doesn't have a leg to stand on!

Lizzyloolah. The fact that a photograph has been published does not automatically point to a person's guilt. It does save the police time by asking for the public's help in identifying him for the purposes of questioning. It is for the court to decide upon his guilt or innocence using a lot more than just a random photo. Basic common sense.

Everyone has a right to an opinion but honestly half of these comments are whack! Yes the headline says 'suspected' but thats because the police cant call someone guilty until speaking to the person in question! And do you all really think this young women who was assulted needs to see these negative comments from people pratically fighting his corner? I can tell you all now that she doesnt! Do none of you think she is going through a hard enough time right now as it is? The people who have wrote about him potiently not being guilty need to take a step back and think to themselves what if it was them or a relative of theres that this has happened too? You'd all be saying differently then.
