BROMYARD will be harking back to the 1940s on Sunday for a new fringe event.
The town centre will be closed off from 10am to 4pm as stalls and attractions fill the streets during the 1940s Street Fair as part of this year's forthcoming Bromyard Gala which takes place on Saturday and Sunday, July 5-6 at the new site at the Burgess Farm, Avenbury, near Bromyard.
Cafes will be open to serve recipes from the decade and visitors will be encouraged to get in to the wartime spirit by dressing in the style of the period, with prizes on offer for the best dressed person as well as in the shop window display competition.
