MERSEYSIDE Police is appealing for the public's help in tracing a missing man from the Meols area.

Trevor Haskayne, 75, was last seen by family at his home on School Lane, Meols on Saturday, June 21.

Trevor was reported missing by his family yesterday. It is believed he might have caught a train to visit family in the Kingston-Upon-Thames area.

Trevor’s family and friends are becoming increasingly concerned for him as his disappearance is out of character and he has never been reported as missing before.

Police are appealing for anyone who has seen Trevor since Saturday, June 21, to get in touch.

Trevor is described as white, 5ft 7in tall, of a slim build with grey hair and a tanned complexion.

He is believed to be in possession of a navy blue case with brown handles and a wristwatch with a snakeskin strap.

He is known to frequent Liverpool city centre and has links to Kingston-Upon-Thames.

Anyone who thinks they have seen Trevor since Saturday evening, or has any information about his whereabouts, is urged to call Merseyside Police on either 0151 777 2081, the 101 number or the Missing People charity on 116 000.
