A MAN is in hospital in a "serious condition" after he was involved in a collision with a car.

The man, who is believed to be in his 20s, received serious facial, chest, leg and pelvic injuries following the collision along the A4440 Grange Way in Warndon this morning.

West Midlands Ambulance Service was called at 8.44am where crews immobilised the man and took him to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham for further treatment.

An advanced community paramedic, a BASICS medic, a paramedic area support officer and a senior paramedic officer were also on scene.
