A MUSICIAN who has played for some of the greats will be stepping out with his own trio.
Brian Dee has performed as a session musician during his career and his piano playing can be heard on recordings by Fred Astaire and Bing Crosby as well as Peggy Lee and Johnny Mercer.
In the jazz world Brian has worked with Chet Baker, Benny Carter, Eddie ‘Lockjaw’ Davis, Zoot Sims and Ben Webster among others, but on Monday, July 7 he plays for Worcester Jazz at the Bank House Hotel, Bransford, near Worcester.
He will be joined by singer Paul Woods and bassist Bill Coleman.
Doors open at 7pm and the music starts at 8pm, with tickets available on the door at £10 or £9 for members.
