THREE dogs and a driver had a miraculous escape after the car they were in crashed into a lorry in Worcester late last night.
Firefighters, an ambulance crew and a recovery vehicle were called to the crash just before 11.30pm on the A4440 Crookbarrow Way.
The driver was able to get out of the car by themselves and was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
One of the dogs was trapped in the car’s footwell and had to be released by firefighters.
A spokesman from Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said: “We believe it was a vet responding to a call”.
