STAFF and students of Upton Pre School are in celebratory moods after receiving their latest Ofsted rating.
The report found that "children make good progress in their learning and development, the management and staff have a clear understanding of procedures and effective partnership with parents and a well-established key-person system helps children form warm and secure attachments."
Steph Maeers, leader of the pre-school, said: "Everyone is really happy with the result.
"We got a rating of good last time, so we're glad to have stayed the same, considering our last inspection was back in 2006. There was a lot of positive feedback for us.
"All of the children and staff were celebrating when the result came through.
"As the pre-school is one of the biggest in the town, it's important parents know their children are coming to a pre-school they know they can trust."
The inspection was carried out on Thursday, June 12, and the report can be found at ofsted.gov.uk
