A THANKSGIVING service in memory of Damian D'Oliveira will be held at the County Ground, New Road on Monday at 2pm.
The former player and academy director died last month aged 53 following a long battle against cancer.
Everyone is welcome to attend the service, which will be held in the Graeme Hick Pavilion, and Mr D'Oliveira's family have asked for all donations to be sent to Macmillan Cancer Support, c/o Chris Neale, The Nook, Battenhall, Worcester, WR5 2HW.
Mr D'Oliveira, the son of Worcestershire and England legend Basil D'Oliveira, played for the county between 1982 and 1995.
He scored more than 9,000 first class runs, with a highest score of 237, and nearly 5,000 List A runs and was part of one of the most successful sides in Worcestershire's history.
